Manatee County purchased the Old City Hall site for $5.7 million dollars. The property contains a 3.7 acre parcel located along Ware's Creek, with a view of the Manatee River and is located at the southwest corner of Manatee Avenue and 15th Street West, in Bradenton. The purchase by Manatee County was for the land necessary for the Dewatering Site for the Ware's Creek Dredging Project. The site was originally planned for a 15 story high rise mixed use project approved for approximately 80,000 SF of office/retail and 106 residential condominium units. Richard Harris & Associates Inc. represented the property owner for the acquisition of this property by Manatee County.

Florida Gas Pipeline has settled with several property owners for takings along State Road 70 in Highlands County that was nearly a mile and a half long, through operating farms and pasture land. Compensation for these cases were negotiated and settled with the Condemning Authority, Florida Gas, prior to mediation or trial. Richard Harris & Associates Inc. represented the property owners for the acquisition of these properties by Florida Gas Pipeline.

This organization operates 22 group homes, an apartment complex, day training centers throughout Pinellas County. This group organizes and participates in many events for the developmentally challenged, including Special Olympics.
